Welcome Message

Like a moth to a flame, an ardent physician is in constant fascination with his source of fulfillment. We always seek to improve our provision of care to our patients and ,thus, to our community and to our country. 

The PCEDM’s mission of putting premium in quality service thru excellent education and research is at the core of each annual convention that we design.  Being deeply rooted to the  values  that we uphold –  integrity, collaboration, excellence, love of country, respect, commitment, and compassion, we strive our best for these to be manifested in everything that we do.  

This year, the annual convention reflects the commitment of PCEDM to excellence.

Aptly entitled Exploring Cutting Edge Landscapes in Endocrinology (ExCELEndo), we have gathered 51 excellent speakers to give us updates and to guide us through intricate cases in diabetology, thyroidology, adrenals and pituitary conditions, obesity and nutrition, bone, and reproductive health. We included debates slated in the morning to tickle our wakefulness and jumpstart our day. We have the PRIDE and JAFES sessions to keep us abreast in research, and sessions for research abstracts and posters presentation by our young colleagues are likewise featured. 

The PCEDM is an advocate of healthy lifestyle.  Thus, we incorporated physical activity in our convention thru walking around the hotel to reach the S-MILES stations.  These are marked by our advocacy mascots Kapitan Apat, Kapitan Thyro, Onyok Makisig, (other mascots). 

This year, we are officially launching the EndoGreen Advocacy Council as our share in protecting the environment, the endocrine way.  Through this council, we collect empty and needle-free insulin pens for recycling. 

We are having the 2nd Creative Hormones booth.  Here, we highlight the artistry of our PCEDM members through showcasing their multimedia creations. There is definitely more to us than you can imagine!

All these were made possible by the collective efforts of the Board of Trustees, the organizing committee, and our dedicated staff. We are also fortunate to have strong support from our industry partners who have remained to be our extended PCEDM family. 

So I enjoin you to stay with us for the next 3 days and experience our brand of excellence. Because this is who we are.
